It is indicated that new data generation avenues such as geospatial data, methods, and tools could play important roles in societal vulnerability assessments and thus contribute in bringing improvements in the society. For instance, estimating/mapping service command areas, identifying under-served/over-served areas, use overlaying techniques among the data layers may give deep insights and required ingredients for policy recommendations, time series scenario development, suggest to incorporate new technologies in resilience building approach etc. Science Connect works in these areas and offers solutions by combining science with social science techniques.
